Liberal Vannin was founded in 2006 to protect, build and secure our Island’s future.
Founded by Peter Karran, Liberal Vannin has fought for the interests of Manx people to bring true democracy and accountability to the Manx government. As the largest political party in Tynwald for many years, it has created a team of strong advocates for the people of the Isle of Man.
As the name suggests, Liberal Vannin is based upon two principles:

It has delivered unprecedented prosperity, freedom and opportunity for billions of people across the planet.
Vannin
Vannin is our home on the Isle of Man. Protecting, building and securing the Isle of Man is at the core of who we are, and what we believe in. We believe in fighting for the interests of the people of the Isle of Man, and that there is no higher power than the community of the Isle of Man. We answer to no one else.
The Isle of Man might only be a relatively small nation, but Liberal Vannin believes that it can be a shining lighthouse in the ocean: a beacon of prosperity in economic terms, environmental terms, and social terms.
